Who’s the best (i.e. cheapest), and who’s the worst (most expensive), Canadian wireless data provider? Let’s say you already have a cellphone for voice calls, but want to have an internet connection wherever you go; you’re going to buy a device and want to get connected. Whom should you choose, and whom should you avoid at all costs? As always, it all depends, but the short answer is: stay away from Rogers.

I have referenced Gregory Karp's money-saving tips in the past, such as his tip for making razor blades last longer, so I was happy to see the always-frugal personal finance columnist come out with a new book, Living Rich by Spending Smart, which grabs hundreds of his penny-pinching ideas and puts them all in one tidy package. Karp makes the case early in the book that a penny saved is actually better than a penny earned, because the penny you saved is after tax while the penny earned is only

This is my first review of the food I ate today at Food Republic in a stall by the name of Express Teppan - Yaki (Restaurant). Ever since I have got my N95 phone, I have been trying to make full use of the phone features which I can leverage on for more values in my blog. So, I decided to write a short food review of my food experience today because I personally think that the food there is not really very nice… Singapore has a lot of food varieties. We are fortunate enough to eat food coo

Looks like I have to wait for some more time before I can ride my bike again.. The other day I was quizzed as to why there hasn’t been any update about my Pulsar 220. There hasn’t been any update because it’s been a month since I have shifted to Gurgaon and my bike is in Bangalore with my brother. When the part was being replaced.. a Service Guy accidentally broke one of the bolts from the left side engine cover After a few days following the second free service of the bike, it was found that

If you follow me on Twitter you probably know that I'm thinking about getting a new mobile phone. My current contract is running out in June. Cell phones are heavily subsidized by the carriers in Germany. This means you get the phones cheap but are stuck to them for 2 years. I do not talk much on my phone - but I want to use it as a mobile internet device. I will read and write a lot of emails on it and I will occasionally access the web. Having a usable data entry method is a must for

Seems appropriate for Super Tuesday. Considering his wife is up for the highest public office. Quote: Sandy Berger walked down Pennsylvania Avenue toward the row of massive Corinthian columns that were the most notable architectural feature of the National Archives. The public entrance to the archives was around the corner on Constitution Avenue, and it would normally be jammed with throngs of boisterous tourists on such a bright spring morning, eager to gaze upon the great documents of

In a review of the new NBC show "Lipstick Jungle" (check your local listings), Sun critic Brendan Bernard fires off a dizzying three-paragraph lede summing up New York's evolution from grit to glitz. It begins: "As recently as the early 1990s, New York City was still considered a relatively dangerous place to live. Drug dealers abounded on every downtown corner, muttering, 'Smo, smo, smo' ('Smoke'), from the shadows. There were, of course, a lot of vagabonds around, and squeegee men, and people

Interesting interview with Senator Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin), Who’s Listening to Your Phone Call? Supporters of the PAA say that if these calls and e-mails were subject to the regular FISA court, it would take hundreds of lawyer and analyst hours to prepare them for the appropriate review. Listen, a criticism like that just shows no understanding of what’s going on here. Helio is currently offering an unlimited everything plan for just $99 / month. This deal is normally available for $145 / month, so don’t expect it to last for too long. The Helio unlimited everything plan includes: unlimited daytime and nightime minutes, text and video messaging, web and email with 3G speed and GPS services including Google Maps.
Be aware that tethering will not work with this $99 Helio unlimited everything plan. Yes, that part stinks - however this is still a super deal as it is.
