The official global launch of the Xperia X1 will take place at Tent London as part of London Design Week between September 18 - 21st. Journalists are invited to attend the official Tent London opening party on Friday evening 19 September 2008 to see the Xperia X1 and meet with Sony Ericsson spokespeople.

Zi announced that Sony Ericsson has agreed to expand its existing licensing relationship with Zi Corporation. Under the terms of the new arrangement, Zi Corporation will continue supplying Sony Ericsson with both predictive text and handwriting recognition technology. The new agreement is expected to increase 33% revenues this year from shipments of Zi’s predictive text software compare to last year.
