The official global launch of the Xperia X1 will take place at Tent London as part of London Design Week between September 18 - 21st. Zi announced that Sony Ericsson has agreed to expand its existing licensing relationship with Zi Corporation. Under the terms of the new arrangement, Zi Corporation will continue supplying Sony Ericsson with both predictive text and handwriting recognition technology. The new agreement is expected to increase 33% revenues this year from shipments of Zi’s predictive text software compare to last year.

New Sony Ericsson G705 slider phone is announced today, it comes with a 2.4″ display screen and pre-installed with Google search.
