Sony Ericsson has produced something for all ages to enjoy, but this will be of special interest to the younger, gaming generation. Sony Ericsson has created a PSP phone. What a dream come true for so many gaming users! The goal with this phone was to try and mimic already popular gaming devices such as the Sony™ Playstation Portable (PSP). The new cell phone design from Sony Ericsson should actually end up looking quite similar to a hand held gaming device. There is even talk of vibrations that will be felt by the user while playing games, just as if they were playing a portable gaming device!
Looks like the Sony Ericssson K850a may be headed to AT&T. The FCC recently passed the Sony Ericsson K850a for use in North America and in sections of the manual they mention AT&T. It has actually been rumored about for a while now, but this gives some pretty serious credit to the rumors. Actually, a version of this phone is already available in Canada.
“The Sony Ericsson K850a is quad-band GSM with tri-band UMTS/HSDPA support, it can take advantage of AT&T’s 3G high speed data. However, its key feature will remain the 5-megapixel camera with lots of options.” As of now, it’s still just a rumor - but hopefully we’ll see this nice camera phone in the near future.
Sony Ericsson just filed another patent for a haptic gaming device, but it’s unclear if it’s the PSPhone or some other gaming phone. The Sony Ericsson haptic gaming device will work similar to the new ROKR E8, without physical buttons. You will be able to switch back and forth between phone mode / game mode, etc. all on the same touchscreen. While it sounds like a neat idea, I’m not sure gaming will work too well without the feel of real buttons. The haptic feedback will give some feeling that your pressing the right buttons by giving you a little “buzz”. But, this also sounds like a huge waste of batteries.
Hopefully, if this isn’t the PSPhone, Sony Ericsson is paving the way for it with this new device. It’s also possible that they won’t even use this prototype.
PhoneArena reviews the Sony Ericsson Z320: “The Sony Ericsson Z320 is nothing different than the previous low-class models of Sony Ericsson. Since it is not intended as a media phone, it lacks FM Radio, Music & Video player. The camera is more of an extra and will probably not be used that often. Nevertheless, we still have the advantages characterizing a budget phone – simple menu, long battery life, reliable construction.
If you are looking for a cheap clamshell and don’t care about the extras, but still wouldn’t mind the nice design you’ll like the Sony Ericsson Z320. It is also very appropriate for a present to a child.”

With all the talk about the environment lately, it is no surprise that cellular phone companies are doing their part now as well. Some of the biggest names that have made their way onto the scene in the latest go green craze are Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Nokia, Apple and Motorola. Greenpeace has been instructing manufacturers that in order to help the environment, companies should stop using hazardous materials and to collect their products after they are used up for recycling. The only problem has been that due to the materials that cellular phones are made of, there was no way to safely recycle them once they had become obsolete.
Is the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 coming to AT&T? Well, a curious panel image has been seen on the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 - the AT&T logo. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean AT&T will be picking up the new handset, but it sure does make us curious why they would put the logo on the phone.
The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 does have a 3G radio, so it could definitely work on AT&T and T-Mobile networks. It would actually be a bit crazy of AT&T not to pick this one up, judging by how well this Windows Mobile 6 powerhouse has been recieved thus far.
Here’s a few specs you could expect to see on the AT&T Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1 if it becomes a reality: quad-band GSM/EDGE, quad-band UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 850/1700/1900/2100 MHz radios, meaning it can work with both AT&T and T-Mobile’s 3G networks. Also, a 3-inch WVGA touchscreen with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It supports input via touch screen, d-pad, and an “optical joystick”. A unique “panels” interface allows up to 100 different screen states to be saved, with nine instantly available from a shortcut menu. The Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 also has a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus. It also has GPS, ...
The T303 sounds like it’s been taken straight our of the Terminator movies. The shiny material around the screen, in case you;re interested, is brushed metal. Besides the metal, the T303 is a typical mid-range slider with a 1.3 MP camera, FM tuner, you browse the Web through WAP 2.0 XHTML with Bluetooth and TrackID as added touches.
The features is so unlike Sony, but it’s about time the company shipped a few low-end handsets to boost market share. And you cannot get more basic than 8MB of internal memory. You can talk all you want on this phone, however, with an above-industry standard of 9 hours.
No word on the pricing but expect the T303 in the middle of the year.

Looks like the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 will be available later this year, not in 2009 - which has been the rumor floating around lately. Just last January, mobile phone giant Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of two new sleek and stylish additions to its line of cellular phone models – the Sony Ericssson T270 and T280, to be available during the first quarter of 2008. Largely based on the highly successful T610, the two new handsets has got both style and uncompromising functionality which boasts of a great number of features the targeted business class consumer will definitley look for.
Now, Sony Ericsson has consistently put out unit after unit of well received handsets for quite some time already and with the T270 and T280, it looks like they (more...)
The fresh Sony Ericsson C902 not entirely chucks the ugly keypad of the K850, but it also gets rid of the K-Series marking for Cyber-shot branded phones. Accompany “Luscious Red” and “Swift Black” color combinations.

Sony Ericsson C902 is a bright and thoughtful appearing 3G phone with HSDPA support, a 5 megapixel camera on autofocus and flash and a QVGA resolution display. The camera is the main selling feature of the Sony Ericsson C902, and it seems to be essentially as is camera found in the K850. Boasting as is multishot potentialities of other recent Cyber-shot phones, the C902 also goes with face detection, red-eye reduction and image stabilisation.
When not engaged, the camera and flash are hidden behind a protective panel, a gracious feature that additional handsets would do well to emulate. Another notable feature are the touch-sensitive image command key that activate around the main screen when the camera is busy, emphasising that this is a phone suitable of the Cyber-shot name. Sony Ericsson have not explicit the video capture resolution of the C902, but the old K850 was a bit unsatisfying therein regard.. although it does have a built-in image stabiliser.

Sony Ericsson W200 is reviewed by traineebigboy at eBay on Mon, February 25, 2008
Average rating: 6/10.
Overall a good phone, if a little small. The keys are very close together which would suit a child or a woman. There's no bluetooth, only infra red, so there will be no downloading music if you're a mac user!

[Continue reading Sony Ericsson Cybershot SO905iCS Released in Japan]After a lack-luster Consumer Electronics Show in January, we were really pleased with how the Mobile World Congress show in Barcelona turned out. Pretty much all of the majors, save Motorola, had plenty of new handsets on hand for us to drool over, not the least of which being the surprising new Sony Ericsson Xperia X1. Not only does the X1 mark the launch of Sony Ericsson's new Xperia line, it is also the first handset from Sony Ericsson to run the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system. That was for us, to say the least, quite a good way to start off the show.
So now we have pretty much recovered from the hustle and bustle of what was formerly the 3GSM show, and now we're going to focus on more reviews for a while. At least until we have to pack our bags, once again, and head out to Las Vegas for the 2008 CTIA Wireless show. From what we've heard from the manufacturers, CTIA should be much bigger in terms of new handsets than it was last year, which is sure to please everybody.
And in case you blinked, it seems that the U.S. carriers ...
