You may have already read quite a few of our posts on the upcoming Sony Ericsson P5, 2 new leaked photos are available today which shows the main menu of the phone running UIQ 3.3 as well as the keyboard layout.

What we have knew is the device will be powered by UIQ 3.3, come with a secondary video call camera, GPS, 5 megapixel camera, WiFi, bluetooth and 3G connection. The keyboard will be similar to M600, which has 2 characters on a key. It looks like the shortcut button around the D-pad is using touch sensor like W960 walkman phones. (you can have a clearer view from second photo below with higher contrast)

From the little thumbnails we can see there are only some minor changes on the design compare to Sony Ericsson Z770. The external LCD screen at front panel is a bit more squarish, the back cover is also different with Sony Ericsson logo at the bottom.
While minimal information is available at the moment, some suggests that the Z780 will support video calls with its HSDPA connection.

Sony Ericsson’s new 5.1 megapixel camera has added a 3X optical zoom and a “smile shutter” to older 5 megapixel models. While SE’s W61S is only playing catch up to Samsung, which has already announced one iteration of its G800 5MP camera phone with 3X digital zoom, the W61S lens is special. It’s an “Exmor” CMOS matrix, the same sensor technology used in Sony’s Alpha DSLR. This is a CDM/Ev-Do phone, unfortunately for non-U.S. users. It has GPS that supposedly can be used with the camera function and Bluetooth and video out. No word on pricing but this phone isn’t going to come cheap.

If you are familiar and have been enamored with the Sony Ericsson K750 then the W800 will have your pulses pumping even more. It is one of the most eagerly awaited releases from the Japanese-Swedish company, and the whole mobile phone industry in general.
And like the K750, the W800 has brilliant function menus, a very able camera and great sounding earphones that come bundled with the phone itself. And rightly so as this unit has the “W” Walkman logo and for all of us who are serious about music know that the name Walkman is the benchmark upon which every brand tries to live up to. And the good news is that the W800 is not expected to reach astronomical price (more...)

If something like "Budclicks" can be marketed to tart up earbuds, then certainly a similar concept can be valid for mobile headsets. That seems to be the working assumption held by Sony Ericsson, which is offering swappable fashion face plates for its HBH-PV712 Bluetooth headset. Chip Chick ...
se-nse blog is loving their Paris P5 leaked video, the latest video screenshot photo showing a Sony Ericsson P5i playing a video in landscape mode. Michell Bak blog author now offers to answer your question on this upcoming device. The Paris should be announced around May this year.

The new Sony Ericsson Z750a is will be available in the U.S. exclusively at AT&T this month. In a clamshell design, the Z750a has an exterior display that illuminates when the phone is in use. As Sony Ericsson’s first 3G/HSDPA handset for the U.S. market, the Z750a features mobile broadband for a high-speed Internet connection and access to multimedia content that complements its multimedia player, 2.0 megapixel camera, Internet browser and e-mail capability using AT&T’s Mobile Email application.

The Sony Ericsson Paris is all the rage right now. The Sony Ericsson Paris is just a rumor right now, but basically it’s got a load of features that may give the Xperia X1 a run for it’s money. Good things must be happening over in Sony Ericsson’s labs.
“The Sony Ericsson Paris will sport a touchscreen display (capacitive, it seems), a semi-QWERTY keypad in the same vein as the M600 and P1, WiFi, 3G (maybe in a global flavor for once?), GPS, and preinstalled Google Maps, all sitting atop UIQ 3.3.”
As you can see, the Sony Ericsson Paris (if it’s actually real) is quite a nice-featured handset. Of course, no word yet on a release date or price for the Sony Ericsson Paris.
The Paris P5 is a UIQ smartphone with a slide-out keypad (perhaps QWERTY) and a D-pad button at the front. The phone could have a VGA-quality screen, WiFi and a 5 megapixel camera - the highest spec Sony Ericsson phone we know about. It’s definitely a major phone from Sony Ericsson with a better form factor than the XPERIA X1, which looks more like a business model.
Like the XPERIA X1, the P5 will have GPS. The pre-installed software includes Google Map and Wayfinder. UIQ touchscreen phones have given users one of the best GUI experiences in a touchscreen phone. Hopefully, the UIQ 3.3 is good enough in the post-iPhone mobile market.
