It's the first time that I tried a slider from Sony Ericsson. Cool design, bright color, small size and light weight. Looks good and feels well - like it a lot!

The Sony Ericsson has recently launched a new brand mobile in India, its new Sony Ericsson W910i phone, yet another in walkman series from Sony Ericssion. This phone comes with an amazing future called the 'Shake Control', means we can change music track just by shaking the phone a little. Sony Ericsson Z310aLetsTalk reviews the Sony Ericsson Z310a: “The Sony Ericsson Z310a is great. The case is attractive and well made, and though it’s small the pad is easy to use. The Z310a gives me options for the screen display, and customizing makes the screen easy to read at any time of day or night. The alarm function works whether the phone is off or on. The Sony Ericsson Z310a menu is very easy to access and use. Phone calls are clear for the user and the receiver. I wanted this phone for emergencies and have ended by using it more frequently just to say “hello”.

The Sony Ericsson Z310a was affordable for me and had more features than I am likely to use, but who knows! All in all it’s the best phone I’ve owned and would recommend it for dependability, ease of use, features, and aesthetics. I don’t know how the battery will hold up over time as the phone is still relatively new.”

As i’m stuck at the mall due to heavy rain, i took the opportunity presented to me to test run the latest Sony Ericsson K850i Cyber-shot 5mp phone. First impression; brick-like, black and a tad heavy. Camera and photo taking is straightforward and its auto-focus function is also slightly faster than my Nokia N73. I cannot attest to the image quality as i never got the chance to upload it to the computer for comparison. Dont believe what you see on the phone screen. But my guess is they’re more

Well; I never thought I’d say this, but my new carry-everywhere pocket digicam is a mobile phone. Fuji’s pocket cameras have died on me one time too many, and so I’ve been swayed by a Sony Ericsson K800i hybrid phone-camera-mp3 player. It’s basically a phone that, when flipped over, becomes a Sony Cyber-shot camera without the extending zoom-lens of a standard digicam. Yep; that’s the same extending zoom-lens that’s just broken on my old Fuji. Judging from my first hour with it, it’s also a r

Sony Ericsson Z310aMobileBurn reviews the Sony Ericsson Z310a: “The Sony Ericsson Z310a is a well built and stylish handset, though it lacks high-end features and offers an Internet experience that is disappointing, at best. The speakerphone and ring volume could use a boost, as could the vibrate feature. After personal use, I can say that even with heavy data usage, the battery will easily last through the day, and I would even feel comfortable taking a weekend trip with the Sony Ericsson Z310a without stressing over a charger.

I still give the Sony Ericsson Z310a a ‘Recommended’ rating, as there are no glaring issues. However, at the entry-level price point, one could easily pickup a handset with at least a better screen and video capture.”

Greenpeace Guide to Greener Electronics

Nokia has finally been unseated in the latest “Guide to Greener Electronics” list. The usurper is none other than manufacturing rival Sony Ericsson. Apple fared very well despite not keeping its promises to use materials that are safer for the environment. Nokia dropped to number 9 from number 1. Nokia was very bad during take back and recycling practices in some countries and are being duly punished.

Greenpeace included Nintendo for the first time in this listing. Nintendo scored a shocking 0!

Sony Ericsson T300 page: , a humble phone with no particular bells and whistles.

Sony Ericsson K660i does not even qualify as Cyber phone, but it has some tricks up its sleeve.

sony-ericsson-k660i

The most significant feature in the K660i is the inclusion of HSDPA high-speed data. This makes web browsing and multimedia downloads faster than the 3G standard, and it also means that the K660i can be used as a modem for a laptop. The other important aspect is the improvement of its Web browser, designed to be much more like a PC browser, with a pointer and scrollbars, with a screen that can be used for surfing the World Wide Web in both portraits (height) or landscape (wide) modes.

The K660i of memory is expandable using Memory Stick Micro (M2) to 256Mb included in the box. Below is a quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz phone UMTS 2100 MHz, as well as GPRS, EDGE and HSDPA data. The K660i measuring 104 x 47 x 14.7 mm and weighs 95 grams, which is quite light for a 3G phone.

Sony Ericsson W300i

A couple of years back, with its innovative Walkman phones - which incorporated its proprietary Walkman function in its cell phones - Sony Ericsson broke new grounds, thereby forcing its immediate competitors to also follow suit. Sony Ericsson Z310aCnet reviews the Sony Ericsson Z310a: “The Sony Ericsson Z310a is a low- to midrange camera phone with a not-too-impressive feature set and only average call quality. Its simple flip phone design is a nice change from the usual Sony Ericsson candy and slider models, even if it’s perhaps a bit too simple. Though the Sony Ericsson Z310a isn’t a bad choice for occasional cell phone users, heavy callers will be left wanting more. The handset is $179 if you pay full price, but you can get it for $29 with service rebates.

The good: The Sony Ericsson Z310a cell phone has a solid feature set with Bluetooth, a speakerphone, and an Infrared port. Photo quality was also good.

The bad: It feels somewhat cheap, and its external display isn’t very useful. Also, call quality wasn’t the best.

The bottom line: The Sony Ericsson Z310a would work as a weekend cell phone, but it’s not the best option for heavy callers.”

Sony Ericsson has just released the W580i walkman phone in Metro Pink. Available in Taiwan, the W580i is packed with the advanced Walkman 2.0 media player, hidden 2.0 mega pixel camera, mood lighting and new multimedia and fitness features. Check out the photo gallery here.

Sony Ericsson W380 looks a bit dull. It is a “Walkman” brand clamshell GSM phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera and a 176×220 pixel screen. The model number relatively low (for example, 380) says that it is a low-end phone. It come with series W380i, W380a and W380c.

sony ericsson 380i

Sony Ericsson W380 has a few features that actually make it a surprising phone very cool. First, it is a Walkman phone, you know that it will have good multimedia capabilities but there is more. Maybe the smart thing in the W380 is a motion detector that allows you to wave your hand over the phone to alarm or an alarm to silence an incoming call.

Stereo Bluetooth, an FM radio and Memory Stick Micro expandable memory (512 MB in-box) are the main features like S500i, Z558i or P990. There is a mail client, browser, RSS reader and all the usual things one expects to find in a Sony Ericsson.
