BrightHand reviews the Samsung BlackJack II: “The Samsung BlackJack II is basically the original model with some improvements. These are nice, but they don’t seem significant enough to me to expect most owners of the current version to upgrade.
Still, the inclusion of a GPS receiver is a nice change, and I know having a device running the latest version of Windows Mobile Standard is important to some people.
Those who travel internationally will surely welcome the addition of support for the version of 3G wireless networking used outside of the U.S. Naturally, there’ll be no complaints that the Samsung BlackJack II will have more memory and a better camera.
For all its enhancements, the Samsung BlackJack II still doesn’t have Wi-Fi, and it uses the same general form factor as its predecessor. So if you’re satisfied with your BlackJack now, you’ll likely still be satisfied with it after you’ve looked at the BlackJack II. Especially as Samsung has just promised to release a Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for the original version of this smartphone.”

Samsung BlackJack II is finally headed to AT&T this weekend. The new BlackJack II will be available November 23rd at all AT&T stores.
EngadgetMobile has more: The AT&T Samsung BlackJack II “features integrated GPS, a 2 megapixel camera, HSDPA, support for Video Share, and stereo Bluetooth and will be available both in the original’s black (albeit a bit glossier) and in “red wine.” Black launches first, with red wine following on December 6 for $149.99 on contract after rebates.”
Wirefly reviews the Samsung T439: “The Samsung T439 flip phone is a great choice for an upgraded phone on a tight budget. Besides the great price, the T-Mobile Samsung T439 offers more than your standard fare flip phone. It includes myFaves software, a built-in music player, Bluetooth wireless technology, a 1.3 Megapixel camera/camcorder and 4 kinds of messaging - text, picture, video and instant. That’s alot of value packed into a great pocket-sized phone.”

I’m super excited about the second coming of the BlackJack. I’m even more thrilled that even though it’s a huge improvement over the original BlackJack, Samsung and AT&T managed to keep the price relatively low - $149.99 with a two year-contract and mail-in rebate.
It's the "Black Gold Limited Edtion" of the U600. The phone was already a pretty nice device, being part of Samsung's Ultra Edition II series.

Samsung moves into Nokia Nseries territor with its new FlipShot camera phone for Verizon. We suspected Samsung is encroaching into the metallic fashionableness of Moto with its newest clamshell the SLM, but now Samsung’s intentions have become too obvious. The U900 camera phone has a 3 MP camera phone that will benefit from the rotating screen/view-finder, which works just like the rotating screen of the Nokia N93. Though Samsung’s screen takes a ore sophisticated approach on the rotating action, the 3 MP camera only comes with a digital zoom.
Other specs of the FlipShot includes TV out, Bluetooth, business card scanner, PictBridge, business card scanner and a microSD slot. It will be available starting November 23 for $199.99 with a two-year contract.

Well, we never thought we’d see the day when Samsung, current number two mobile manufacturer, will take a couple of steps in the wrong direction and rip off Moto’s way of dubbing its cellphone models. Okay, so the SLM is not exactly made up of four capitalized letters, but one couldn’t exactly forget it does sound like it belongs with the RAZRs, RIZRs and KRZRs. Another add thing about the SLM is that it’s got a metal casing instead of the plastic we all know Samsung is so fond of. So, what do you think? Is Samsung moving into Moto territory?
Specs include 2.0 MP camera and support for Napster Mobile. It will be available on November 23 for $150 with a contract.

While we all are thrilled with the brand new Nokia 82 with 5-megapixel digital camera with full Xenon flash, our Korean friends in Samsung are busy manufacturing new cell phones with 8-megapixel digital camera with complete auto-focus feature for the first half of 2008.
