Cnet reviews the Pantech Breeze: “The Pantech Breeze has a delightfully slim and trim profile, with curved corners and sides. It’s wrapped in an all-white matte plastic shell and feels nice and light in the hand. The phone also comes with a 1.04-inch diagonal external screen, which we like to see on basic phones like this. The Pantech Breeze supports 65,000 colors and displays information such as date, time, battery and signal strength, plus photo caller ID. Our one complaint about the external screen is that we can’t activate it without opening and closing the phone, so we can’t easily check the date/time.
The good: The Pantech Breeze is an attractively slim flip phone with a large keypad, a display with big fonts, and a really easy-to-use interface. It also has a VGA camera and three quick-call keys for emergency purposes.
The bad: The handset’s quick-call keys are smooth to the surface of the phone, there’s no self-portrait mirror, and you can’t activate the external display while the phone is closed and on standby.
The bottom line: The Pantech Breeze is definitely ideal for seniors and those with disabilities, but it’s also an ...

An AT&T Pantech Duo 2 C820 is in the works. The AT&T Pantech Duo 2 C820 would replace the current Duo C810. As it’s name suggests, this phone has a 2-way sliding face, similar to the Helio Ocean. One displays a full Qwerty keyboard & the other displays a numeric keypad.
The new AT&T Pantech Duo 2 C820 will have a rounded black case, full Qwerty keyboard, 2.4 inch QVGA screen, sync connector & microSD slot. Also, the newer model upgrades the camera to 2 megapixels, upgrades to Windows Mobile 6.1, has 110.03MB of storage & has 30.8MB of memory. Wow, not a bad looking handset. We’ll have more details on the AT&T Pantech Duo 2 C820 soon.

Usually Pantech phones with a "C" prefix in their model number are bound for AT&T, so we guess the new C610 won't be an exception.

The Pantech C610 may be here soon. The Pantech C610 is most likely headed for AT&T, but it’s too soon to tell. The new clamshell has 3G and is red in color. Judging by the picture at left, it’ll be a fashion-conscious cell phone. The already available C810 is likely the higher-end model, while the Pantech C610 will be a mid-range handset.
AT&T seems to be moving very slowly these days, with the still unreleased SMT5700 & VU (although they should be coming here shortly) - so we don’t know when the Pantech C610 will hit the retail stores. Check back soon for more details.

The Pantech UTStarcom TXT8010 was spotted on the FCC website today. The Pantech UTStarcom TXT8010 was one of two handsets announced by the company at this years CTIA (the other was the CDM7126). Apparently, this new little handset is going to be quite wide, as seen in the FCC image.

March 27, 2008 - Pantech recently sent out a contest to Korean Universities in which students were invited to come up with new and creative designs for mobile phones. After many submissions, Pantech chose five winners that stood apart from all the other amazing designs submitted. We have a few shots of the winning phones for the world to see. Haven’t these students really out done themselves? We have here pictures of the winning designs. Most all of them feature minimalist designs that stays true to the latest trends in mobile phone and cellular device design.

As of now, there’s no word on exactly when the phone will be released - just sometime in April. The AT&T Pantech Breeze won’t be the only handset AT&T is releasing this Spring though, there’s also the LG VU, Sony Ericsson Z750, Motorola W760 Hurricane, Motorola Z9 and there’s even rumors of a Nokia N95-3! Wow, it’s a good Spring for AT&T.

The AT&T red Pantech Duo should be available shortly, as the carrier will get this one out before Valentine’s day.
