NEC Cell Phone Reviews

Targetting Office Lady (OL), DoCoMo releases the NEC N906iu flip phone that looks very alike to Samsung flip phones. The N906iu features a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, built-in MP3 digital music player, microSD memory expansion slot that supports up to 2GB of memory upgrade, 1-Seg high-definition TV support, E-mail, and Full internet browsing. The N906iu is only 12.99 mm wide, a little bit over half inch, making it very easy for ladies to carry around or slide it inside a bag.

The best selling point of this NEC phone is its built-in digital camera that has anti-shock and other camera features that you can only find in standalone digital cameras. So, although N906iu’s camera is only 3.2-megapixel, it is capable of taking sharper pictures than other 3.2-megapixel camera phones do.

NEC VersaPro Goes Green

If I thought Friday was hectic, Saturday set out to prove that was merely a taste of things to come. More stands to visit. Some revisiting with follow-ups after sleeping on information already provided. And of course the UK Outdoors Blogger Convention 2008 ® meet-up; And later a get together of the Wildcamping E-Petition Campaign supporters to review progress and talk strategy and tactics. Plus whatever else turned up as the day progressed. Phew - this was going to require A Plan. Naw, sod t

Fuel Cell Handsets From NEC

nec flask concept phone

NEC’s concept cellphone uses an alternative fuel that unintentionally or intentionally makes said cellphone resemble a lighter flask. We don’t know if fuel cell technology of this size already exists but the resulting product looks dangerous.

It is apparently touch controlled and has a transparent to provide a rather cheeky battery indicator. The liquid drains while the phone is using up power. No details have been published besides the ones you can glean from the picture.

Maybe goth isn't the gadget trend of 2008 after all. The theme of choice this year might well be the flask.

Last week Iomega tipped its hand, perhaps literally, with a new hard drive that was suspiciously flask-like in appearance. Now, only a few days later, ...
