My Motorola Karma QA1 review: The Motorola Karma QA1 is a brand new messaging-centric handset for AT&T. It’s kind of a boxy looking phone with a hidden slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It actually looks like the short, less-interesting cousin of the Palm Pre. Now, that’s not to say that this phone doesn’t have some good features on board. The buttons on the QWERTY keyboard are very spacious, and should be easier to use for large-fingered folks. There are also one-click links on the main screen to social media sites such as Facebook & MySpace.
Other features on the Motorola Karma QA1 include: a 2 megapixel camera, A-GPS, microSD slot (expandable up to 16GB), 3.5mm headset jack, 3G, MP3 player & Stereo Bluetooth. The 2.5″ QVGA display is pretty decent. It’s a little wider than it is tall, which works well for messaging. I guess that’s the one benefit of a wide handset. You can get the Motorola Karma QA1 now for just $79.99 after 2 year agreement & rebates. It’s definitely a fair price for what you get, but I would only recommend this handset to heavy texters & social media users, not to regular phone ...
