The i-mate

There is a new device that will soon be on the market that will offer a “Sidekick for grown-ups.” This new device will feature Windows Mobile and have been lovingly deemed the i-mate. The i-mate, or the Ultimate 9502, will feature a TV out plug so that users will be able to plug their device into any television and access their pictures and videos (or even documents and address book, I suppose) on a larger screen to share with friends and family. The business professional might even find that this is a useful way to store and share information for business meetings. You could review your material easily on the handheld device on your yet to work of the meeting and then simply plug in before your presentation. How easy!

The Ultimate 9502 i-mate will also feature triband HSUPA, a 3 megapixel camera complete with autofocus and a VGA display that will make reviewing your data or multimedia a pleasure. This mobile device is fast enough for even the most impatient of mobile users. It is also a very durable phone that can withstand a lot but still comes with a styling look. A lot ...

More attractive than most sliding keyboard smartphones, the i-Mate's Ultimate 9502 offer more space than other smartphones but is less touch-sensitive.

It appears that i-mate's run in the U.S. is all but over, after reported wide-scale layoffs on Friday have left the company's Redmond based U.S. operations offices gutted.

i-Mate JAMA 101 Reviewed

Feb 28, 2008 Filed under: I-mate

We've just added our review of the i-Mate JAMA 101. It's a tough little Windows Mobile 6 Pro phone which is currently selling for £199.95 off-contract. Equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, microSD slot and Bluetooth 1.2, we've perhaps seen higher specifications elsewhere, but this sturdy device does pack the Pocket PC into a small and robust box.

Jan 5, 2008 Filed under: I-mate

It's been quite a while since we saw any new devices from i-mate so I was quite keen to get my hands on the i-mate ULTIMATE 6150 this morning.
