Bitte denkt daran: 1 Frage = 1 Thread Zum T-Mobile G1 Review.

HTC is no longer partner for Sony Ericsson in term of Xperia X1’s outsourcing project (and seems the Taiwan-based phone manufacturer should keep their hands full with Google’s Android phone). The Japan-Sweden venture plans to outsource its second Windows Mobile-based smartphone to Taiwan-based Mobinnova, a handset maker under Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry).

The Chinese-language Commercial Times reported:
Although Sony Ericsson is believed to continue expanding its lineup of Windows Mobile-based smartphones, the company’s partnership with HTC will come to an end when the current production of Xperia X1 handsets completes its business circle, the paper quoted industry sources as indicating.
There is no official explanation from Sony Ericsson regarding this move so far.

The HTC MAX 4G is an impressive specified Windows smartphone, but perhaps the most interesting part is the 4G connection. Plain Old whether UMTS / WCDMA is 3.5G and 3G HSDPA is.

Unlike the N810 if the HTC MAX 4G is also a fully featured mobile phone with tri-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE data support (but not 3G) and also the standard 802.11 b and g wi-fi. WiMAX radio in the works from 2.5 to 2.7 GHz, but not all implementations of WiMAX technology around the world using this frequency.

HTC MAX 4G is quite similar to the specification in the HTC Touch HD. The 800 x 480 pixel touch screen is a slightly larger 3.8 inch, and there is a motion sensor integrated in to automatically change the orientation of broad and large formats. There is a 5 megapixel autofocus camera on the back and a secondary 0.3 megapixel video call camera on the front. Audio output is a standard 3.5 mm socket, and the HTC MAX 4G has an FM radio too.

The MAX 4G also support GPS, ...

Since the death of the iPhone, the mobile world has gone bonkers over touch screens. Having now personally tested and reviewed the iPhone, HTC's original Touch, Google's G1 and, of late, the BlackBerry Storm, an ill-conceived single button touch screen, I conclude humans are better off with keys. Forget the glass.

BGR has thrown up a pretty good side by side comparison review of the Xperia X1 and the HTC Fuze. He likes the Fuze, no surprise there huh? At the end of the day, what phone is better? That’s the ultimate question isn’t it? I personally crowned the AT&T Fuze as the best Windows Mobile device out there. Am I sticking to it? More or less, yes. Here’s why… The XPERIA X1 is a fantastic Windows Mobile phone. But the more we use it and evaluate it, the more we think its target market shrinks.
