The European carrier, Orange is considering removing the BlackBerry Bold from its range of handsets due to the device’s “ongoing technical problems”, the Telegraph.co.uk reports.

Despite the fact the Bold received positive reviews when it launched, but
consumers have reported unexplained crashes, poor reception and irregular dropping of calls. Return rates are understood to be well above average for similar devices.

Of course the BlackBerry fans will love to hear this rumor. Gizmodo posted a 2009 BlackBerry Roadmap that suggests we will be seeing a touchscreen Bold and a slider Storm soon.

Based on TmoNews Forum, the roadmap table offers some interesting details such as the touchscreen Bold 9900 (codename “Pluto”) with a standard Bold QWERTY keyboard and the unconfirmed slider Storm with a slide-out keyboard, possibly 3G and Wi-Fi.
The list also mentions the new BlackBerry Curve 9220 (previously reported “Magnum” codename), the 3G/HSPA version of the 8900 and, along with Bold 9900, will be possibly announced at 2009 WES.

These are some of the features of the future BlackBerry Enterprise 5.0 OS that have been leaked today. We don't know when the new OS will be available, most likely in April 2009, but we're positive that RIM will release at least two more updates for the current 4.7 build before then. 5.0 OS fea...
