MobileBurn reviews the Asus P527: “The Asus P527 is very modern looking, has an outstanding feature set that includes GPS and an auto-focus camera, and offers something that few Windows Mobile touchscreen devices do - a traditional phone keypad.
The Asus P527 does have a few shortcomings, though. A lack of 3G support is sure to be a turn-off for road warriors, and the joystick doesn’t always behave the way it should. But with that said, I still found the P527 to be one of the most enjoyable and phone-like WM6 Professional devices on the market, and I give it a “Highly Recommended” rating.”

Asus will have us think that a cellphone can go as fast as a Lamborghini or at least look fast. Though we doubt that using the same race-car design on a PDA phone that worked considerably well on an Asus laptop will get first adopters lining up, it’s about a handset gets race car stripes. We were hoping Asus would do the ZX1 shiny like the laptop.
The photo above is a mockup by UV and doesn’t look too nice, to be honest. What we do know is that the ZX1 will be top of the line. It will run Windows Mobile 6 and will have 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity plus GPS and it’s a touch screen. This baby will be fast via a 520 MHz Qualcomm CPU. Oh, did I mention it will be a touch screen? Knowing what Asus is capable of in the smartphone category, we cannot wait.

The new ASUS TravelStar 5K500 feature with 500 GB in 2.5 inch hard drive from Hitachi integrated into the ASUS M series multimedia notebook PC.

The new Asus M50 and M70 will be ship with the Travelstar 5K500 to provide the storage capacity for high definition media and personal data. ASUS consistently strives to provide consumers with the most efficient and powerful notebooks that are both practical and durable. The new M series of notebooks answers the demand for maximum storage in a small portal form factor.
Hitachi have taken some shortcuts with Travelstar 5K500 though. Instead of optimizing the storage density it simply fit an additional platter inside the case. This has boosted storage capacity quite a lot, but also made the drive 3mm thicker than most other models.

New Asus M930W photos and specs have been released by a French website. The new Asus M930W will carry Windows Mobile 6 and some pretty impressive features.
PhoneArena has more: “The Asus M930W has side-opening clamshell form-factor, which reminds of the Nokia E90 Communicator, with color display and numeric keypad on the front and bigger (still rather small) landscape oriented one and QWERTY keyboard on the inside. Instead of the Symbian S60 used in E90, the Asus M930W will run on Windows Mobile 6.
Asus M930W is a tri-band GSM phone (no 3G) with 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, microSDHC slot, a 520 MHz Marvel PXA270M processor, 256 MB ROM and 128 MB RAM.”
It looks a lot like the LG enV or the Nokia E90, but its nothing like either of those. It flips open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard, a D-Pad, and a larger screen than the external one.

Several new pictures of the upcoming Asus M930W communicator have been released.
It has a similar clamshell form factor as the LG enV, and features tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE/HSDPA connectivity, two displays, a 3.2Mpix camera, Wi-Fi 802.1...

Never mind that Asus’s M930W Communicator has a more than passing resemblance to the Nokia E90, it is bound to make a significant impact in the mobile business users market. It almost copies the E90 feature for feature: 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus, WiFi, 3.5G/HSDPA and Bluetooth. Unfortunately, the inside screen is nowhere as usable as the E90’s. As you can see in the photo above, it’s quite small and of similar resolution to the external screen. The QWERTY keys are designed flat so it will be a little difficult to type without looking down at the keyboard. Price has not been announced yet, but the WM6 device should fetch a lower price compared to the E90.
