ASUS has launched a speaker iPod dock - the ASUS Air3. What happens to be different on Air3 is that it is integrated with Internet radio and High Definition Sound Standard (HDSS) certified speakers and Embedded Transmission Line (ETL) module for superior sound quality.

The HDSS speakers AIR3 are compatible with all iPods except the iPod Shuffle. AIR 3 is also able to charge the iPod while it plays. When connected to TVs and LCD S-Video and composite video, the AIR3 can also display video and image files stored on the iPod.

Asus has recently unveiled two new laptops for gamer which named Asus G50 and G71. The first G50 comes with either 15.4 or 15.6-inch, an Intel Core 2 Duo and an nVidia GeForce 9700M GT graphics engine, while the G71 has 17-inch, a 4 GB of DDR2 memory, up to 1 TB hard disk, and a range of Intel Core2 Duo and Quad Core CPU.

Both of the laptops are also equipped with Blu-Ray burner, Bluetooth and a 2 megapixel camera module. Asus G50 is available with a starting price of € 1000 or around $ 1249.

From Apple iPhone to HTC Touch and Samsung Omnia, it is not surprise that more manufacturer will release their full touch screen phone. Asus is said to be preparing their new Asus Glaxy7, a new Windows Mobile smartphone with a 3.5-inch touch screen. Comes with their own Glide UI, Asus Glaxy7 has the same resolution (480 x 800, WVGA) as HTC Touch HD, though both will still be restricted to 65k colors due to the OS. The Touch-screen phone market is getting crowded. While HTC is trying to catch up Apple’s iPhone with HTC Touch phones, another Taiwanaese company, Asustek is set to launch Asus P552w touch-sceen phone that looks very alike to HTC Touch.

The P552w, which was unveiled on September 5, features the latest Asustek-grown 3D touch user interface, the Glide, which is able to perform functions similar to the HTC-grown 3D TouchFLO technology, the noted the observers.
Asustek is expected to start volume shipments of the P552w in the fourth quarter of this year, compared to the first quarter of this year as originally planned, the observers indicated.

With HTC already shipping over three million HTC Touch phones and another one million HTC Diamond phones, Asustek’s pricing and its strategy to cooperate with telecom operators will be critical to the success of the P552w, said the industry watchers.

Asus already lauch the leather notebook and now has announced the launch of its new series of bamboo notebooks. The exterior of the new notebooks are made of bamboo.

Aside from the outside, notebook batteries were also green with 35 to 70 percent longer life span compared to other notebooks, thanks to the Super hybrid engine. Asus also believes that even without this technology, portable batteries are capable of boosting system performance by as much as 23%.

The new series of Asus notebooks bamboo are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo and will feature OS Windows Vista.

The new line includes bamboo two notebooks measuring 12.1 inches and 11.1-inch screens. The 12.1-inch model includes adding a GeForce 9300M GS for faster 3D, a 2.5-inch hard disk up to 320 GB and 802.11n Wi-Fi Although the size of the model includes Intel Core Duo U7600, 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 32 GB SSD and DVD Super Multi double layer.
